State Coverage Initiatives Bids a Fond Farewell to Alice Burton

After serving as the SCI Director for three years, Alice Burton is returning to public service as the chief policy advisor for Maryland Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene John Colmers. Under her leadership, the SCI program expanded its reach and improved the overall technical capacity available to state officials across the country. Alice inspired and motivated her team with unbridled energy and enthusiasm – moving projects forward with her uniquely powerful combination of will, inspiration, and intellect. While Alice will be greatly missed by the SCI team, we hope that she will remain a familiar face, accessing SCI resources as a state official.

Enrique Martinez-Vidal has assumed the position of Acting Director working with the rest of the SCI team on various new initiatives for states.
