State Health Research and Policy Interest Group Annual Meeting

June 11, Seattle

AcademyHealth’s State Health Research and Policy (SHRP) Interest Group will host its annual meeting on Saturday, June 11 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle. The SHRP Interest group meeting provides researchers, policymakers, and practitioners the opportunity to hear and discuss recent state-level research that emphasizes the unique challenges of working within a state policy and political environment. The small-group format allows for participants to engage in discussion opportunities and network with peers from around the country.

The meeting is held in conjunction with AcademyHealth’s Annual Research Meeting (ARM). Registration is open and processed through the main ARM registration page: www.academyhealth.org/arm/register.

A limited number of scholarships are available for state officials. These scholarships will cover the cost of travel and registration for the Interest Group meeting and the main ARM (hotel costs will not be covered). Please contact Hilary Kennedy (hilary.kennedy@academyhealth.org) no later than Friday, April 29 if you are interested in applying for a scholarship opportunity. AcademyHealth will be in touch with applicants about the status of their scholarship request in mid-May.
