The State Coverage Initiatives (SCI) Annual Meeting is One Week from Today!

The SCI team is looking forward to joining state officials in Albuquerque, N.M. on Thursday, July 30 for the start of the SCI Annual Meeting.  This year will be the biggest meeting in SCI history.

Participants will benefit from a packed agenda that includes the following topics:

  • Updates from states that have passed or are implementing new health reform initiatives;
  • An update on health reform in Massachusetts and Vermont;
  • Connectors and insurance regulations;
  • Policy reform in Medicaid and CHIP;
  • Medical homes and payment reform;
  • Research and evaluation of state reforms;
  • Care coordination and payment reform;
  • Ways to coordinate public health and health reform efforts;
  • Tools for using data to enhance transparency and accountability; and
  • HIT opportunities and challenges for states from the Stimulus Act.

Following the meeting, all presentations, handouts, and related research articles will be posted to the SCI Web site.  This will be a great resource for both participants and state officials unable to make it to the meeting this year.
