How Can We Help You?

During these difficult economic times, we understand that resources are limited for state health reform initiatives. With the generous support of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and over 20 years of experience working with states, State Coverage Initiatives (SCI) exists for the sole purpose of working with and helping state officials on coverage and reform issues.

Our program offers no cost, personalized technical assistance designed to meet the needs of your state. SCI is dedicated to providing you with the staff and/or financial support to help with projects related to maintaining coverage programs, coverage expansion efforts, and broader health care reform issues.

Over the years, SCI has helped state officials from across the country with a broad range of questions and projects related to insurance market reforms, public programs, and delivery system and quality improvement strategies, such as:

  • Implementing Section 125 plans;
  • Evaluating the feasibility of creating a connector in a state;
  • Auto-Enrollment and express-lane eligibility;
  • Public-private partnerships;
  • General actuarial analysis or modeling proposals;
  • Establishing waiting lists for public programs

Now, we would like to offer our assistance to you.
