New Publication Examines the Impact of TennCare Changes

The Community Research Council—a Chattanooga based non-profit policy and research organization—conducted an analysis to assess the impact of changes in the TennCare program.  Based on survey research, publicly available information, data collected from a sample of hospitals in the state, and a series of roundtables conducted with current TennCare participants, former participants, social service workers and health care providers from Tennessee’s fourth largest county, the paper, TennCare Reform, One Year Later, begins to assess the early impacts of the changes made to the state’s Medicaid program.
