HCFO Releases a New Findings Brief

The need for collaboration across and within the public health system has become increasingly evident during a new era of expanding public health challenges and decreasing resources.  However, challenges exist regarding measuring the connectivity, or strength of interactions, between partners and within collaboratives.  Danielle Varda, Ph.D., of the University of Colorado at Denver, and formerly of RAND Corporation, and colleagues examined this issue by defining and quantifying good connectivity, and developing a tool to measure it. The researchers identified core dimensions of connectivity, as well as key factors to developing successful partnerships and collaboratives.
